she heads out with a towel, because originally this was gonna be popsicles but then i remembered it's like valentine's day out here, so i changed it to mugs of tea, but then francy said it's actually p warm so HERE WE ARE I GUESS. A TOWEL. TO DRY OFF AFTER OUR RIVER DIP.
[WEATHER IS FAKE, REALLY but yeah he's out here and he's vibin', so when mabel approaches and a towel appears in his line of vision he actually looks a little surprised.]
Oh. Thanks. [he will take the towel and he's going to immediately start drying off his wrapped arm first.]
...you doin' okay? [summer dorm has been hit pretty hard lately, and that's not easy on anybody.]
No kidding. [there's a thoughtful hum after that.] It kind of feels like two bodies is going to be our new normal, but at least it was...uh, cleaner this week.

If I didn't know better, I would've thought Byleth was maybe just asleep.
Rough is definitely one way of putting it, yeah. Since the weather's warming up, guess whoever was moving people back inside decided not to waste the time last night.

but ichinose was all weird about it she wanted to know why i was asking and who told me this stuff and thought that people here would lie about this sort of thing when i said you told me she just went "hmmm" i have no idea what that means
it was a theory. it may or may not be true now, but it's still a weird pattern we're looking into it's likely otome-san had an accomplice. we just aren't sure who it was yet ...again, doesn't surprise me i'm pretty sure ichinose-san thinks i might know more than i actually do but i'll talk to her myself and see what the problem is

I know. But you know the others in the daycare will take care of her. They're working hard to change their transcripts and come back. We'll see them again soon...then you can get to know her even better.

Right. We have maybe another week, and then they'll get into the office, change their transcripts and be back before you know it. We'll graduate and then we'll change the story ourselves. They're watching us, so we have to do our best for them...even if that means being sad right now so we can be better tomorrow.
