Anyway Mabel is here now, and she is barging in as intensely as she can with her injured foot into this common room like a WOMAN ON A MISSION. which she is.

she's hauling in with her a basketful of ice cream pints, carried in on Waddles's back, along with a crapton of those fun-sized candies and chocolates. She sets the food on the common room table and then stands there, arms crossed sternly. ]

Okay, one: what the heck happened in here this week?

And two: eat.
