All the stuff with like--who was a bad guy, or a good guy turned bad guy, or all the bad guys secretly being good guys all along! Or my pigs being evil!

I was only able to join the villains, because you made a big deal about the color of our costumes. We wouldn't have turned good and evil on their heads without your pigs, either. Why are you saying that you didn't do anything?

I just...never did anything helpful around here to anyone, this whole time. Why would it be any different now?

[He turns away, though not entirely. His shoulder points in Mabel's direction.]

I don't feel like standing here and chatting. Let's grab something to eat first.

[ she shrinks a little, feeling like she's been dismissed. but...he's also inviting her to food? ]

[He looks at her over his shoulder.]

What do you feel like eating?

Uhhh...I dunno. [ honestly, she DOESN'T feel like eating. ] What do you wanna eat?

It's gotten rather late. Something light would be good.

[He takes a step toward the cafeteria, poor shape though it may be in now due to the world's condition.]

[ and she'll get up and trot after him! ]

[They go. True to his word, he grabs a light sandwich for himself. As he does, he looks over at Mabel.]

If you won't eat, you should at least grab something to drink.

[ good call man. she's done so much crying she's probably hella dehydrated. ]

Pfft. Okay, mom. [ she grabs herself a juicebox. ]

Who's mom?

[Shaking his head, he also grabs himself a drink before seeking the nearest seat that isn't fading out of existence. It's time to eat.]

[ stabs her juicebox with its straw and takes a sip, giving him A Look. ]

Maybe there's a world where people don't get born and have moms! Maybe you just hatch from a mystical egg at random or something!

Well, I definitely didn't hatch from an egg, if that's what you're thinking.

[He looks at her—it's been so many centuries since he even saw his own mother—before he takes a bite out of the sandwich. Then, after swallowing, he asks in a light-hearted manner:]
